Dear Reading Friends, this is David Telbat. Okay, let’s get something straight: I don’t really know the future of Mongolia, but I wrote about it anyway! Some of you may have read God’s Colonel, my futuristic End Times Novel based in New Jersey. Several commented on it; some said it was an intense read. Now, get ready for more tension in the wilderness of End-Times Mongolia in Called To Gobi!
A Time of Conflict
As a youth, one of the attractions the Bible had for me were End Times prophecies. When I became a true Christian as a young adult, those prophecies of preservation became mine personally. If you are also “in Christ” and believe His love has secured you for eternity, then you too are included in the prophecies in the Bible regarding preservation (I John 4:17-18).
But those who are not in Christ will experience conflict—personally, locally, and globally. To write Called To Gobi, I drew from circumstances told about in Scripture—the heightened End Times of conflict—and threw a Christian man (Andrew Foworthy) into Mongolia to see how he coped. It’s a fictional story about the future, but not the too-distant future, if you’re paying attention to world events. Are you ready?
Mongolia for You
You won’t have to live in a third-world country to experience heightened times of conflict. We haven’t yet begun to have serious judgement in the US, but we’re seeing pieces of the puzzle fall into place. In my Called To Gobi novel, Mongolia is in upheaval, but where Christ resides—in the hearts of believers—there is a peaceful expectation of God’s greatest good for them.
You need not dread the future, even though the future will be absolutely devastating. That’s a fact, not fiction. But trusting in God’s deep love secures His applied forgiveness once and for all. We are His sons and daughters for eternity.
Whether you live in Mongolia or in America in the future, find comfort in Christ’s arms and His prophecies for you. Let His love touch you and change your entire existence.
I hope you’ll read Called To Gobi, and discover how a time of conflict can be overcome by faith in Jesus Christ (I John 5:4-5).
What does your future look like?
See you in the field!
