Dear Friends, This is David Telbat. Thanks for joining us for a challenge for action with the Christian’s rope course! Many of you have read my COIL Series. Amidst the COIL Adventure, you are sometimes given a glimpse of a fictional Boot Camp. The boot camp challenges ordinary Christians to trust that God will introduce them to an extraordinary calling. What’s your calling?
Running the Course
In a past story, there was an urgent race to save lives in North Korea. That’s a reality. Our brothers and sisters in NK are being killed daily, and as they suffer for our Lord, we must remember to pray for their strength, for God’s watchcare over them, and for God to use them even where they suffer.
The challenge is also about us and Exodus 14:15. God wants us to be praying people, but that’s not all. He wants us to be people of action—sharing, preparing, giving, and discipling.
You’ve probably seen how ordinary people train to become extreme athletes. Our rope course as Christians begins with our morning Bible study, and our times of evangelism and testimony throughout the day is the course we’re meant to run. Be sure to reach the finish line, Christian!
See you on the course!
