Welcome, Readers! Christian Author David Telbat here to share biblical relevance to the scientific phenomenon known as Dark Matter and Dark Energy. I’d like to share notes of interest that relate to our lives from research for my action novels.
What is Dark Matter?
As far as scientists are concerned, dark matter cannot be defined exactly. They insist they know it exists. How do they know something that can’t be seen actually exists?
Scientists claim that dark matter exists because when they measure the mass of any known object (from a golf ball to a planet), they can see the mass is not proportional to the greater excessive amount of gravity that holds each object together.
What Dark Matter isn’t
Are scientists right when they claim that dark matter (and its force called dark energy) exists? Well, yes, and no. Yes, there is a “Force” that holds all things together. But, no, it is not a mystery that there’s not enough mass to explain so much gravity in all objects.
The hunt for dark matter and the attempt to measure dark energy is, on scientists’ part, a denial of God Who is active in His creation.
Who Holds Things Together
God, who came in the flesh as Jesus Christ, claims to be He who holds His creation together. (Read Colossians 1:17.)
Even the uneducated Christian knows that the world would fall apart without our Creator and Sovereign God holding all things together.
What We Know
The hunt for dark matter and energy may be an atheistic desire to disprove God’s existence, but it only confirms what we believers already know: science without God can totally miss the Truth.
If only all scientists would use the Book that has the answers by which they could begin their research to view the world…
