*NEWS Update:* David Telbat’s new COIL Series Book #5, Dark Zeal, IS OUT! 🙂 You can find it at Smashwords and on Amazon! Watch our Dark Zeal page for updated info and links to retailers. We look forward to hearing your thoughts on this new Christian action/suspense! Now, here’s David—
Dear Reader Friends, With Dark Zeal newly released, we must discuss our Christian view of the Gaza Strip and the conflict that rages on the world stage. Does Dark Zeal shed some light on this troubling topic? It better, since most of the story takes place inside the Gaza borders.
God’s Choice Plan
Dark Zeal takes you onto the rubble streets of modern Gaza City and places you in the midst of smugglers’ weapons, militants’ missiles, and the Christian’s cross. I daresay, you can’t read this book without recognizing God’s grace toward Israelis and Palestinians alike—and possibly causing a change in your outlook toward this violent conflict.
Man and wife, master and slave, parent and child—God has His order, and that includes Jew and Gentile. God cannot UN-choose the people through whom He chose to come. He has taught and is teaching mankind through the Jewish people of Israel. And while God’s order is necessary and profitable, we understand all people may approach God on equal spiritual grounds for salvation—always by grace through faith.
A Christian’s view of Gaza must be God’s view of Gaza. We should appreciate God’s choice to continue to fulfill His plan in the world through His people, the Jews. But we should also, and in balance, obey His desire to fulfill His spiritual plan using the Church, the Bride of Christ, to see souls saved—souls from any nation, Jew or Gentile, American or Palestinian.
In Dark Zeal, Agent Corban Dowler maintains this balance. Thus, he’s able to make the most significant contribution in Gaza, and in the world.
Let our spiritual view of the people of the world be the same as God’s view. Oh, and enjoy my newly released book, Dark Zeal! 😉
