Corban Dowler’s Debriefing on OP with Indonesia Persecuted Church
Debriefing/report filed by: Agent Corban Dowler
Subject: Agent Nathan Isaacson
Code Name: Eagle Eyes
Operation: Liberate Cross Charlie
Eagle Eyes returned from Indonesia where he was able to free 25 Christians from incarceration. Eagle’s cover is too deep, so he went alone, but I set him up with appropriate diplomatic papers.
The op was originally set up to pressure the leaders of Front Protector of Islam (FPI) into releasing a leading Indo-Asian pastor, codenamed Samson. But Samson had been murdered a day before Eagle’s arrival. Eagle directed his attention to reports of dozens of Christian workers who had been arrested by the FPI for church activities such as influencing Muslims to convert, which is a crime in Indonesia.
When meeting with the FPI at their headquarters, Eagle Eyes didn’t fold under their intimidation. They quickly understood he was a diplomat with connections, an untouchable with resources. Though three youths later attacked him with machetes before the prisoner exchange, Eagle’s God-given size and quick thinking warded off serious injury.
The prisoners were exchanged for two European cars already on the Islands, a small purchase price for me to approve, in payment for the 25 incarcerated–nine women, six children, ten men. Some were injured and untreated.
After they were released and taken to a safe house, I contacted our man in Parliament about said vehicle arrangement. The two cars were confiscated and the FPI aggressors were arrested. All the newly released 25 are alive and recovering.
Eagle’s identity seems intact. Many more Christian prisoners are being held in Indonesia, but as Eagle Eyes confirmed, they remain faithful and inspiring. COIL will circulate the info through the Prisoner Alert site.
