Welcome to Telbat’s Tablet, Reader Friends! David Telbat here. I have a tough message for us in this Special Forces Christians Series, Part I. I don’t wish to offend anyone; I only want to make us think about this possible scenario. If Christianity were illegal here in the US, how would we live today? In this seven-part series, I will pose several challenges to us Christians who may have too many worldly attachments. This might be ourselves, or someone we love. Keep reading!
Our God Hates Sin
To the eyes of much of the world, Christianity is the most intolerant and hateful religion ever. Discrediting Christianity means they don’t have to listen to what it says. This sentiment is not your fault, if you are a Christian. Their distaste resides on the shoulders of our Holy Lord, who inspired the Bible to be written by men of God. Enemies of Christ will find the Bible intolerant of sin.
Because of God’s intolerance of wickedness, and since the Son of God came to man as the Man, Jesus Christ, Jesus will be attacked, and anyone who follows Jesus Christ will be similarly attacked. I illustrate this often in my books like The COIL Series, to remind us that Christians are truly persecuted.
The world’s wickedness causes animosity towards righteousness. God views those who are covered by the Son’s righteous blood, also as righteous. For this reason, many countries around the world have made Christianity illegal—that includes having Bibles, baptizing, proselytizing (preaching for converts), and gathering together for Christian services.
Pick a Side Today!
It’s time for you and I to get prepared. Right now, the Bible is not only being deemed inconsequential by critics, it’s being condemned. Anti-christian sentiment is spreading. You must pick a side today. When the pressure is applied, which is inevitable, where will you stand? Where will I stand?
See you in the field,
