For those interested in The COIL Legacy, Book Three, Distant Harm—David has finished writing this new amazing addition to this series! He plans to have it ready in a couple of months, so watch for our news in our weekly posts. Be sure to check out the new description and the new cover here!
And a note for subscribers—David has a special gift for you as we get closer to releasing Distant Harm! He’s written a long short story as a prelude to Distant Harm, exclusive just for his subscribers! Be watching for that in the next couple of months.
LAST DAWN TRILOGY
As soon as David has finished with Distant Harm, he’ll be jumping on his new futuristic series, the Last Dawn Trilogy, which takes familiar COIL characters into America’s Last Days. David will provide a new description soon. Read this past post about how he plans to merge COIL with STEADFAST. He says The Steadfast Series is a good prequel to the Last Dawn Trilogy, but Distant Harm really sets up the new series also. More exciting reads to come!
The STEADFAST SERIES
David isn’t finished with his Steadfast Series! He has outlined the next two novellas, Book Five and Book Six, for early 2018. And you’ll be happy to know, he’s planning to make them longer than the previous books (though they will still be novellas)!
Changes to our Posting Schedule
Beginning January 1, 2018, there will be some changes to our posting schedule. We’ll continue to send you weekly posts, but David is going to cut back on his personal posts. He will provide you with one new short story a month (instead of two), and one other post (such as an Author Reflection, a research post, or a book review) each month. He’ll also continue writing occasional “promo” posts about upcoming novels.
On the other weeks, I (Dee) will keep you up-to-date with David’s novel news, or have a post about an upcoming novel, or link to an archived story or post. We’ll eliminate my extra post that I was sending on a Wednesday every two months (like the one you’re reading now). I’ll incorporate that novel update into our weekly posts, most times sending it to you on the last Monday of every other month. Most of you won’t notice much difference, other than we’ll be posting only one new short story each month, instead of two. But we have lots of D.I. Telbat short stories archived on our site! You can find them here and here.
David isn’t slowing down writing novels for you, but he’s also involved in full-time ministry that takes much of his time. He felt this would help him manage his schedule easier, yet still keep in touch with his beloved readers/subscribers.
ORDERED LIST OF NOVELS
A while ago, I created a PDF download that helps readers to keep track of D.I. Telbat’s books, and the recommended order in which to read them. You can check it out here.
That’s all for now, Friends. This will be my last regular Wednesday extra post, but I’ll post another “Dee Peeks” Novel Update the end of February on Monday, the 26th. Have a good and healthy New Year ahead as we watch the clouds for Jesus’ return!
COMING UP: Join us for David’s new allegory to bring in the New Year, “For now you must Endure, a Short Story.”
