Thanks for joining us, Reader Friends and New Subscribers. This is Dee with the August 2017 Current Novel News for D.I. Telbat. NOTE: Our thoughts and prayers are with the people affected by the hurricanes in Texas and Florida. May our Lord give them comfort and hope in the midst of this tribulation.
A note of thanks to all who took part in our Flash Sale for Called To Gobi last week. We have another promotion coming soon you won’t want to miss! (A freebie!) Read about it below.
STEADFAST Book Four: America’s Last Days
Thanks to many of you for leaving your thoughts and encouragements on Amazon for David’s new series! AND he has finished writing Steadfast Book Four! It has now moved into the editing stage. One thing most of you will be happy to hear—David made it longer than the previous Steadfast novellas! He has many more stories up his sleeve for America’s Last Days, so stay tuned! Check out our new Steadfast Book Four page here! The new cover is on its way, as well as a new description. (And then we can watch for Steadfast Book 5!)
FURY in the STORM
For those who haven’t seen the beautiful new cover and description of Fury in the Storm: Where Christians Dare, Book One of The Leeward Set, you can click the title link to check it out now! We are finalizing this great covert mission suspense novel. For those who have read Sea Scribe in past years, this is the same story with a few corrections, updates to the bibliography, additions like a character sketch, and a bonus chapter of Tears in the Wind, Book Two.
Oh, and one other thing— When we are ready to go live with this newly-titled novel, we are going to have it FREE for a limited time from ALL retailers so those who have read Sea Scribe in the past won’t have to buy the updated version! Even though this story is the same, the book is being republished as a brand new novel, with a new number, because of the extensive changes on the title and cover, so you won’t have challenges downloading this new book even if you still have the previous version on your device. Yay!! We hope to have this Book One of The Leeward Set out to you this fall, along with the sequel, so stay tuned.
TEARS in the WIND
David has finished writing Tears in the Wind: Where Christians Dare, Book Two of The Leeward Set! He’s finishing up his final draft then it will begin moving through the editing paces. We’ll have a description up on the book page shortly, as well as the new cover.
Here’s a rough storyline—child soldiers in Burma need to be rescued. The rescue team buys a Landing Dock Ship to house the teens. Challenges galore. And you sort of know some of the house parents of these rescued kids—subscriber friends, Susan and Rick (Susan was a winner in a past drawing) are helping in this huge mission! Stay tuned to our posts as we get closer to having this set of books out to you, planned for late fall.
Some of you are wondering about Book Three in The COIL Legacy, DISTANT HARM. David hasn’t forgotten it! He will jump on it full-time as soon as he passes off Tears in the Wind for the editing phase. We hope to have Distant Harm for you for the holidays, or shortly after. Stay tuned to our posts.
A peek at the Distant Harm story: Corban Dowler and Titus Caspertein wonder where they are going to find five men for a very dangerous rescue mission in the most treacherous country in the world. The problem—they don’t see how these men will survive. And then we encounter . . . the Kindred of Nails.
We will meet new characters, and discover hidden secrets about some of your favorites. But we know God is always the winner. Don’t miss this new suspense thriller coming later this year!
What’s coming after Distant Harm?
You’ve read that David is merging the STEADFAST and COIL storylines. (Read his past post about that here.) Well, he’ll be working on what he’s calling a “Mega Novel,” (we’re working on new titles now for TWO novels!) which will bring COIL-connected characters into the Steadfast timeline in America’s Last Days. He tells me we’ll be jumping ahead in time. These novels won’t be part of The COIL Series, though there are some connections with characters.
David says, “There’s a lot of COIL non-lethal gun fighting and survival and heartache and persecution and Steadfast-type crazy militia-type sectarianism.” Sounds like there’s much page-turning suspense coming your way so stay tuned! 🙂
That’s it for this time, Reader Friend. Thanks for reading David Telbat’s stories and posts, and for leaving your comments and reviews so he knows how he’s doing.
The Lord bless you and keep you as you serve in your own circles,
